Czech Beer Festival

The Czech Beer Festival takes place this year 7-23 May, so we'll be able to partake! Interested?
I'm inquiring from our hotel about tickets to this event.  We have the evening of 19 MAY free, and I suggest we attend as a group, but feel free to opt out if it's not your thing.  VIP ticket cards are 1039CZK (about $41.40 each).  Of this amount, 640CZK ($25.49)are pre-loaded as this is the mandatory minimum consumption limit.  We may have a small fee to use the bus for transportation (and I highly recommend we do so).
The other amount of the VIP card is for:

• the VIP entrance, 
• a reservation for dining together, (there can be as many as 10,000 people attending, of which 4000 will fit under the tent in the beer garden and you sit wherever you can find a seat) 
• and unlimited visits to the festival during the duration of our visit.  

Cash is not accepted at the festival, so if you arrive individually you will still be required to buy the 640CZK card to purchase beverages (over 150 drafts) and food. Master Card and Visa are accepted to load the card

The foods served appear to suit a wide range of tastes from British "fish and chips", deli, sushi, vegan, traditional Czech food, even American BBQ and Burgers, and of course cupcakes.

This years festival will include a wine bar with a selection of wines from the Moravian winery Spielberg.
Čili Bar and Hoffa Bar, at the central garden bar, will be offering top-quality coffee prepared by professional baristas, cocktails, fresh juices, home-made lemonades and teas.
Once again, Sweet´n´Sins will be offering their fantastic cupcakes with special beer flavours.
